Maasai Mara National Park in the south-west of Kenya is the celebrated location of what is called The Greatest Show on Earth – the annual migration -- when the plains have over a million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebra‚ impala and other animals searching for fresh grass after the rains. Their dramatic river crossings are a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle for visitors. The park is Kenya's most famous and most visited game reserve. It offers not only breathtaking views- as made famous in the film 'Out of Africa' - but also an extraordinary variety and density of animals‚ including the "big five"- lion‚ elephant‚ rhino leopard and buffalo.
This specific package of a trip is ideal for the busy people but would like to take 2 days off from Kampala to go and mingle in the wild yet work is calling the back too.
Day 1: Fly from Entebbe to Masaai mara. The flight goes through Kisumu for immigration reasons. You will arrive in the afternoon and take on game drive through the wonderful planes of the Masai Mara national park. This will go on till dusk when you will check in to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: You will wake up to the beautiful Masaai sunrise as you head into the jungle again for safari to the Mara river before returning to take your flight back to Entebbe.
